On 2-3 December 2026, the Road and Bridge Research Institute, on behalf of the Ministry of Infrastructure, will host the 5^th Forum on Guidelines and Standards (WiS), dedicated to current challenges in road infrastructure design and management.

The journal “Roads and Bridges – Drogi i Mosty” is a media patron of the event.

The main topics of this year‘s edition will include innovative technologies in road engineering and new guidelines and standards recommended by the Minister of Infrastructure, with particular emphasis on the WR-D-24 street design guidelines (WiS). The programme will feature expert sessions and workshops dedicated to the design of infrastructure for pedestrians and cyclists. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss specific case studies and explore practical design solutions.

The Forum is aimed at a wide range of professionals, including road infrastructure managers, traffic management authorities and supervisory bodies, road and traffic management designers, as well as members of the scientific community. It offers an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience and learn about current trends in road infrastructure development.
