On October 22–23, 2026, the Road and Bridge Research Institute in Warsaw will host the 1st Conference on “Drainage Systems of Transport Infrastructure in Design, Construction and Maintenance” (SOIK 2026).
The journal “Roads and Bridges – Drogi i Mosty” has become a media patron of the event.
The main thematic focus of the conference will be the impact of climate change—such as torrential rainfall or extreme weather events—on the operation and efficiency of drainage systems. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss key issues, including the WR-D-71 road guidelines, modern linear and point drainage systems, as well as matters related to stormwater treatment and environmental requirements. The program features expert presentations, case studies, showcases of modern technologies, and panel discussions.
The conference is aimed at a wide range of specialists: designers, contractors, transport infrastructure managers of all levels, as well as representatives of the scientific community and drainage technology providers. It offers an excellent opportunity to gain up-to-date knowledge and establish valuable industry contacts.
