Abstract

The paper presents an experimental investigation of the dynamic modulus of deformation of ground subbase performed on the small testing field. The dynamic deformation modulus is assumed to be a measure of flexibility of different model system of the ground subbase of road pavements. Effect of strengthening of ground by geotextile layers was proven in described cases. For a beneficial use of this strengthening effect more full scale testing is needed.
